Preacher's Pulpit Sedries #7

Comrades, greetings in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.  There sure is allot happening in the world today.  Could it be a sign of the times?  Recently, our Supreme Court made it law that gay couples can legally get married in all fifty states.  This once again is usurping the rights of the states by our federal government.  Next, an insane person goes in a black church and kills nine people after sitting through the service with them and because someone saw him with a Confederate battle flag on the internet we are seeing the systematic destruction of an entire culture and heritage that was also based on state's rights.  Even though it is the leaders of these states that are doing it in the name of political correctness without the consent of the people. The members of this church who lost their pastor and friends and family have chosen to follow the example of Christ and forgive the terrorist while other people who are filled with their own agenda have chosen to use this tragedy as an excuse to once and for all get rid of a symbol that so many of our forefathers died under whether they were slave owners or not.

A few years back one might remember that we were allowed to pray in schools and things like abortion were illegal.  Now it is a crime to pray in schools and the slaughter of millions of unborn children has not only become legal but accepted as morally OK.  What is wrong with this picture?  If someone went on a school playground and was killing all the children would the person that stopped him by killing him be called a terrorist?

The word says in Is. 5:20-23, "20 Woe unto them that calle evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! × References for Isaiah 5:20

21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!"

I believe that we are in these times.  In 2 Tim. 3:1-5 it says "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of  pleasures more than lovers of God."

Does any of this sound like the times we are living in today to you?  Comrades, we must keep the Faith.  Soon if we are not in a war we will all probably be put in jail or institutions because we believe in the one true God and His only begotten son, Jesus Christ.

I know that many of you might think of me as a doomsday preacher but comrades if we are not prepared we might very well be left behind!   Let us trim our lamps and be ready.  The day is far spent and darkness is at hand.  Several groups already call us infidels.  How much longer do you think if will be before they call us blasphemers of their gods?  We have been living in a comfort zone for way too long and have gotten lazy and fat with the pleasures of this world.   Will we be found wanting when Christ returns?   Today is the day of salvation!  Let us work while the day light is still abundant.  This is a call to spiritual arms!  Prepare yourselves you soldiers of the Cross for the enemy is at hand. Let us open up our spiritual eyes and ears and obey what the Holy Spirit is showing and saying to us!

May the Lord bless you and keep you in his hands till we meet again.    Chaplain King

    1. I especially identified with "...We have been living in a comfort zone for way too long and have gotten lazy and fat with the pleasures of this world."
