, greetings in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that everyone made it home safe and sound from Gettysburg. For me it was a wonderful experience. Not only did I get to participate with my comrades in arms I got to see some sites that I have never been to before. These included Harpers Ferry, Winchester, Kernstown, Cedar Creek, Cross Keys, and Port Republic where the Jackson campaign ended in 1862. I also found the site where the great General of Jackson’s Calvary, Turner Ashby, fell after his horse was shot out from under him leading the rear guard. May he rest in peace. The one disappointment that I had was due to schedule changes. I was not able to deliver my sermon. Fortunately, Chicago Dave asked me to read a scripture to him and a few others which opened the door to expound on the truth in God’s Word. As for the ...
